BIFF 2008 Dedication

The Beloit International Film Festival was conceived in 2005 in partnership with Ken and Diane Hendricks. They saw BIFF as an opportunity to enhance the cultural life of this community and to attract new audiences to Beloit to enjoy and celebrate our dynamic city. They watched BIFF grow with pride and found opportunity in film for their own creative expression.

In December, this community lost half of that creative partnership in the passing of Ken Hendricks. With his entrepreneurial vision, Ken challenged the BIFF founders to create a unique and exciting festival, open to the whole family. He was proud of what he saw develop.

BIFF 2008 is dedicated to the spirit and confidence that Ken offered to The Beloit International Film Festival and to this city, and in appreciation of the support and encouragement offered by Ken and Diane and the Hendricks Group. His legacy will be the continued growth and quality of this Festival and this community in the coming years.
