For the Audience
Q. How about accommodations? A. Beloit offers a wide variety of accommodations for your stay. However, during the festival, many hotels in the city fill up to capacity, so you may want to plan ahead, and book accordingly. Let us suggest that you consider our Official Hotel Sponsors, The Beloit Inn, Fairfield Marriot, or Ramada Inn.
When you book, also make sure you inquire about any special offers for accommodation on our website(link to hotel page) for the duration of the festival that our partner hotels may offer. In addition to that you can check out a complete list of lodging alternatives at Visit Beloit.
Q. Is there food or snacks available within the venues? A. Depending on the venue, snacks or even food will be available for purchase. The rules regarding this are completely at the discretion of the venue managers. Indeed, in the past, Suds O’Hanahan’s, La Casa Grande and Bagels and More had special full service menu deals for the audiences.
Q. How about alcoholic beverages? A. Bottled water will be available at each venue. Suds O’Hanahan’s, Dominicos, The Eclipse Center, The Beloit Fine Arts Incubator (wine & beer) and La Casa Grande are the only venues licensed to sell alcoholic beverages during screening.
Q. May I smoke? A. Smoking is prohibited inside the screening room in all Venues except in Suds O’Hanahan. However, there are clearly marked smoking areas around each venue, keep in mind some of those areas are outside and it can be a bit chilly in the Wisconsin winter.

Q. I have gotten my tickets, but how do I find the venues? A. We have taken several precautions to make sure once you have your ticket, you will not miss your movie.
- We know winter in Wisconsin is not warm, that is why we have a round-the-clock Limo Shuttle Service between the Turtle Creek Book Store Box Office and all venues. Also note that most all our venues are within walking distance of each other.
- The program book will be available at all venues and the box office and it contains all necessary survival information about BIFF.
- In addition to that, there will be clearly marked signage directing you to the venues.
- If this information is not enough, please feel free to call us to get specific directions and assistance.
Q. What ticket discounts can I get? A. General Admission: $7 dollars, Student Admission: $5 dollars - Student ID’s will be checked both at purchase and at the door of the venue. Please see our packages page for special packages we offer. *** The Harry Potter Marathon pass, good for all 5 Harry Potter films is only $15.00.
